Coming from a middle-class background, ambition often learns to adjust itself to reality. Dreams are weighed against limitations, and practicality takes precedence over possibility. We started from that very place without backing, without an established ecosystem, and without ready infrastructure to rely on.
In Odisha, technical textiles were not just underdeveloped they were almost non-existent.
Stepping into this space was not just challenging; it felt like walking into the unknown without a map.
Yet, the idea refused to let go.
The vision was simple, yet powerful to build something meaningful in Odisha, for Odisha, and from Odisha. To create opportunities where none existed, and to demonstrate that world-class technical textile capabilities could emerge from a place never associated with it before.
But reality tested us at every step.
There were days when progress felt invisible, and nights that seamlessly turned into mornings without rest. There were no weekends, no holidays only continuous effort. Every small milestone came after countless setbacks.
Sourcing machines was a challenge. Skilled manpower was scarce. Building an ecosystem from scratch often felt overwhelming.
There were moments when everything seemed on the verge of slipping away when it felt like all that we had worked for could fall apart. Doubts surfaced. Questions lingered:
Is this even possible?
Are we pushing too far?
And yet, every time we reached that edge, something pulled us back.
The strength came from faith faith in Lord Jagannath, whose blessings we believe have guided us through our toughest phases.
It came from the people of Odisha their encouragement, trust, and silent support that gave us the courage to keep moving forward.
And from the larger community across India, who believed in our vision, even during moments when we struggled to believe in ourselves.
This journey has never been easy. It still isn’t.
But today, when we look back, we don’t just see challenges we see growth.
